About Catfish Air

Catfish Air was a real airline which was the in-theater air travel system for Iraq.  They operated blackhawk and chinook helecopters to ferry people from one city to another.  Catfish Air was structured just like any civilian airline out there.  They had ticket counters, check-in, baggage claims, and standard routes.

Catfish Air is named for the 185th Aviation Brigade from the Mississippi Army National Guard.  These brave men and women operated in dangerous conditions every day and seldom missed a beat.  They flew through hostile airspace as well as constant dust storms and pitch black conditions.

Catfish Air honors the courage and bravery of this Mississippi National Guard unit by carrying on their work and offering excellent virtual air service to VATSIM's virtual air passengers.  Come on and start your adventure with Catfish Air today.
